3 TBS hot water
4 TBS oatmeal
1/2 TBS bacon fat
Pinch of salt
In a saucepan, melt the bacon fat in hot water; sprinkle in oatmeal. Knead for several minutes, then roll out on a floured board. Roll thin. Cut dough into large or small rounds. Cook on a medium-hot griddle or cast-iron frying pan for about ten minutes. Remove from heat and allow to harden.
Suggestion: Serve with slices of cheese.
