Hamburger Steaks with Herb Butter
4 TBS butter, softened
TBS minced onion
1 TBS each of fresh chopped parsley, chives & basil
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Salt & pepper to taste (for butter & meat seasoning)
1 to 2 LBS ground beef chuck
In a bowl, combine butter, onions, herbs, lemon juice and salt and pepper. Mix well. Form meat into patties, about one-inch thick. Season the patties with salt and pepper. Light an outdoor grill, or heat a broiler pan, and cook the hamburger steaks to preferred doneness. Put on plates and top with the herb butter.
