Cafe au Lait
Coffee with Milk
3 C freshly brewed coffee
1 C milk, scalded or steamed
Sugar to taste (or chocolate shavings)
Pour the hot coffee into large cups. Using a large spoon, add the milk with its foam to the coffee. Serve with the sugar, or sprinkle shaved chocolate on the top.
