6 C long grain rice
6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
3 C mixed vegetables (carrots, green beans, peas)
5 C boiled chicken
3 multi-purpose canine vitamins, ground fine
Boil chicken for twenty-five minutes or until no longer pink. Use broth from the chicken to cook rice according to package directions. Chop chicken meat and blend with the boiled eggs; mix in cooked rice, crushed vitamins and mixed vegetables. Serve at room temperature. Store unused mixture in individual Ziploc baggies and freeze; thaw packets when ready to use. Most dogs prefer the mix slightly heated.
Note: Recipe will make enough to feed a large breed dog, 65-100 pounds, for three or four days.
Recommended: Add multi-purpose canine vitamins in the preparation of this dish to provide optimum nutrition for your dog (s). Use a mortar and pestle to crush the vitamins into a fine powder, and then mix well with the other ingredients.
