12-16 ounces cooked chicken
1 1/2 LBS white flour (about 2 1/2 C)
8 oz. Quaker Oats (about 1 cup)
3 Bouillon cubes, meat or chicken-flavored
1 C water (more or less)
2 eggs, beaten
1 multi-purpose canine vitamin, ground fine
Preheat oven to 350-degrees F. Grease three cookie sheets and set aside. Finely chop the chicken, or run through a blender briefly. In a large bowl, mix flour and oats with crushed vitamin, crumble in the bouillon cubes; add eggs and the chopped chicken. Stir in enough water to make a firm but slightly sticky dough. Spread evenly on the cookie sheets, about 1/2" thick. Dip a small dog-cookie cutter in flour before cutting out each portion, or use the floured rim of a glass. Bake for one hour. Cool before serving. Store in the refrigerator; can be kept for up to two weeks.
Recommended: Add multi-purpose canine vitamins in the preparation of this dish to provide optimum nutrition for your dog (s). Use a mortar and pestle to crush the vitamins into a fine powder, and then mix well with the other ingredients.
