Russian Sweet Tea Bread

In a bowl, combine flour, egg, water and salt into a firm dough. Cover with a tea towel and allow to rest for about thirty minutes. Cut the dough into small pieces; roll out into strings. Cut strings into small rods, and make rings by putting ends together. Cook in boiling sweetened water for about one or two minutes; remove from water. Place sushki rings on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350-degrees F for about thirty minutes, or until golden brown.
