Sucre a la Creme
Sweet Milk Squares
1 C granulated sugar
1 C brown sugar
1 C heavy cream
Mix the sugars and cream together in a large microwave-safe bowl. Place bowl in the microwave and cook at full power for about ten minutes, stirring twice during cooking time. Allow mixture to stand for five minutes. Use an electric mixer on low speed, beat mixture for three of four minutes. Pour mixture into a buttered 8-inch square glass baking dish. Refrigerate for about one hour, or until firm. Cut into squares and serve.
