I haven't had a pizza from Papa Murphy's for years, so yesterday's gourmet chicken garlic variety was a real treat.
I'm not a fan of pepperoni or sausage pizzas because the grease seems to soak through the other ingredients, making it grossly unpalatable in my view. I'm also easily bored with tomato sauces.
However, the creamy garlic chicken pizza from Papa Murphy's was excellent. I substituted the tomatoes for sliced mushrooms, which made it even better.
My only complaint would be the overload of cheese on the pizza, which literally made it hard to chew – almost like rubber.
But all in all, a wonderful Saturday lunch.
